Side entering agitators are used if the digester is equipped with gasholder or when there are limitations to installing a top mounted agitator.

The number of agitators needed to install in the tank to fulfill the agitation purpose depends on tank dimension and its content.

All our agitators are equipped with single, double or split mechanical sealings.

Depending on the application a lubrication unit is included for our side entering agitators to lubricate the sealing and flush away particles that can reduce the expected lifetime of the sealing. Suggested lubricant is oil without any type of additives or a mixture of water and glycol.

Bottom bearing can be chosen as an option for the agitator to stabilize the shaft and reduce vibrations that can happen when sudden viscosity/density variations occur to the liquid while adding new raw material into the tank.
